Apologies for the delay in posting on this blog. Things have been very busy at MEME and Connect for Music HQ. Lots to tell you about though… MEME and Connect for Music will be commencing a new night at The Social from November. Watch this space for more information on that. But, we expect it to be a corker! Also, Joseki, (Connect for Music, MEME), has been working on collaborations, and other new tracks for various labels, including a track for Yoruba Grooves, on their Pick and Mix EP. This track has been getting a lot of support from Marco Carola among others. And well deserved that is too, because it is an awesome tune! Not to be missed too, is Connect for Music’s latest EP… These two artists both provide a nice collage of different styles, from house and techno, through dubstep, bass music and breakbeat. JOSEKI - SPEAK AND DISPELL (Connect for Music)
On the 24 Jan 2011 a new chapter begins in house and techno. Joseki (aka Richard Powell) is the brainchild behind this, with his new record label project called ‘Connect for Music’. The first of the releases on this new label is the ‘Functions EP’, featuring Morris Cowan (Wigflex, Super, Traum), alongside ‘Joseki’.
